Long story short, I got charged for 18 rides this week even though I’ve been using the same card on Apple Pay for OMNY. I called customer service today and they said they can’t do anything about it because supposedly Apple Pay somehow reset my credit card earlier this week so it reset my fare day (even though I didn’t touch it). I am just shocked. They said they can’t cancel the additional rides that I was charged because OMNY rules were broken since my credit card comes up as a new device/card to them which is ridiculous. Has this happened to anyone else before? It’s ludicrous to me they can’t fix this and all the customer service agent told me was that since the rules were broken we can’t do anything. And I was like this isn’t even my fault?
I told them I was going to do a charge back and they told me OMNY would likely prohibit my card from being used ever again. Has tried doing a charge back with OMNY and if it caused issues?
