I mean within the last year or two. But especially within the last year.
I was already a pretty frugal person before inflation became a bigger driving factor in my decision making, but now I’m noticing I’m cooking about 90% of my meals. I eat out maybe twice or three times a month compared to twice a week pre-pandemic.
Eating out felt pretty expensive before the election last year, but it seems like prices are just ratcheting up a couple bucks year by year with seemingly no end in sight. Is it just me? Can other people working in restaurants chime in with their own observations?
