For the longest time (like 2 years), the second light fixture in my kitchen has been hanging down because I tried changing it when I moved in and couldn’t get it back properly. Just got back from a month overseas and noticed it’s been put back in its shell perfectly. This is weird because the ceiling is like 10 feet and you need a chair or a ladder to reach it.

I didn’t do it, my partner swears they didn’t do it, and I’ve asked everyone who’s visited recently – nobody touched it. We travel internationally for 1-2 months at a time frequently, and this definitely happened during one of these trips.

My biggest guess is the super came in and fixed it, but I never got any notice which would be illegal, right? He’s hard to get ahold of and definitely not the proactive kind. Has this happened to anyone else? What could possibly explain this? Getting kind of freaked out that someone was in my apartment without telling me.
