I live in Brooklyn and for the past couple months I have been awoken many nights by a nearby mosque broadcasting the call to prayer very loudly at 5:00 in the morning.

I am aware Eric Adams loosened some rules around this recently, but I was under the impression that they applied during Ramadan, which has been over for a while now.

Have the rules actually changed to allow them to make this much noise during quiet hours or are they breaking the guidelines? I am curious if other people living near mosques have had the same issue recently as well.
