Curious if this is a my circle thing (early 30s, white collar professionals) or a broader trend in the city (or even nationally).

In the last month I’ve had three good friends as well as spoken to multiple other people in social events who have been recently laid off. Trying put my finger on the pulse if this is rumblings of the economy slowing down (that the BLS hasn’t caught up with) or just coincidence.
