Anyone else trying to hit every single subway station in the city?

So I decided back in January to make it a goal to check out every subway station we’ve got – all 472 of them. Been keeping a little journal where I jot down what I notice at each stop. I’m at about 58 stations so far after these past few months.

Since I do IT support in Midtown, it’s pretty convenient to just pick a random train after work and see where it takes me. A lot of these stations are pretty basic – just two platforms serving one line and nothing special. But I’ve found some real gems along the way. The little bronze figures at 14th St/8th Ave are incredible, and there’s this amazing art piece called Good Morning and Good Night at Crown Heights-Utica that blew me away. Also stumbled across this bizarre connection between Junius St on the 3 and Livonia Ave on the L where you have to walk outside.

This whole thing has gotten me to explore parts of the city I never would have seen otherwise, and I’m having a blast with it. Anyone else done something like this before? How long did it end up taking you? Are there any stations I absolutely need to prioritize or weird features I should keep an eye out for?
