so i live in a house and i pay for the first floor (hopefully only the first floor because i heard that sometimes you end up paying for someone else’s electricity bill)

so my freaking bill for the month has somehow tripled YET again. and they’re telling me “oh it’s because of the heat” which ??? one of the heaters hasn’t even been turned on in a month, and im in the house less so really we should be using LESS energy but somehow it’s more????

anyway i called to ask about it and the person on the phone was absolutely useless, like they weren’t even trying to be helpful at all and that’s so frustrating.

the state of the economy is already shit, the last thing we need is these fucking bills and yet here they come anyway.

it’s literally so fucking ridiculous like it’s either i freeze or pay a billion dollars just so i don’t have to freeze???????

i genuinely can’t take this shit anymore like im SO over con ed and i just don’t know what to do.
