Just curious how common it is in NYC, I know in most places in the US people pick each other up from the airport but it usually is assumed it’s because they drive there and will do a dropoff.

My gf came to the airport to meet me over the weekend after my flight. I told her not to because neither of us own a car so it doesn’t really save us any time, we’ll just take MTA back to the city anyways, but I was grateful for the kind gesture.
