So I’ve read all about Shen Yun and its connection to Fulan Gong, its conservative and anti-communist themes, the labor exploitation allegations, etc. I’m not asking about any of that here. I’m specifically curious whether these shows fill up, since I’ve never met a single person who has been and am not really sure what the target demo is. If you’ve been to one, was the theater full? What was the audience like? Did you pay full price for tickets or were they comped/discounted?
