I just got off of a 16 hour flight and did not have it in me to take public transit back. I typically take cabs to support them (and since Uber/Lyft have surcharges) but I’m really frustrated right now because it said a $70 flat rate at the JFK taxi cab stand (obviously I know that the taxes/fares can impact this) but the driver charged me $120. His meter wasn’t on and he just pulled out the white square Apple Pay thing. He wouldn’t let me out of the car until I paid. I reported this to 311 and the Square link but he replied on it. I immediately contacted my credit card as well to dispute it. Is there anything else I can do? I’m kind of scared because he knows my building.

I reported him to 311 for overcharging me $50 and going 20MPH+ over the speed limit so many times.
