Helping My Homeless Staff – Looking for Clothing

Hey neighbors, I am a small business owner, and I often hire market staff who are on the street looking for work. Many of my staff live in men’s shelters and are often under-dressed for work, but are rising stars. This week, my staff was working for another vendor, wearing sneakers working outside on a very cold day, and he had to leave. I would like to buy him some boots, but my partner says I’ve already been over generous, as I feed them nearly every work day, donated clothing, and pay them for hours I probably shouldn’t.

Where can I pick up – or send him – to get some second hand work boots, winter boots, possibly a winter coat and some layers. He is also very tall about 6’3″ and very thin, 160lbs/28-30in waist, so probably has a hard time finding these staples that fit him second hand. Thrift stores and Good Will have become so trendy, and are no longer affordable the way they used to be…its all trendy cowboy boots and high fashion.
