Just at a loss. I was doing a lot of these in person social events and clubs last year and got to meet a lot of people through them, make a few new friends, and even a girl I dated for a bit. I’m early 30s M fwiw.

But I’ve noticed a lot of those in person events that got popular in 2023/2034 taking advantage of people’s urge to meet in person after the pandemic are now straight up dead, or declined in number and quality of people or just straight up all very weird dudes attending these with hardly a woman in sight.

I’m just sad cause I feel I found some good ways to meet people and they literally went downhill so fast and quick. Also, dating apps feel quieter today than a few years ago. Maybe I’ve just aged out of the pool.

Another thought I had is that maybe the good people are just leaving NYC at this point. Is that so?
