Went to a street fair this weekend in queens and was shocked to see the Italian food stands selling sausage and peppers for $20!?!?

Purely on a matter of principle I refuse to indulge the exorbitant pricing I’m seeing all around the city. $20 is more expensive than Yankee Stadium!

Not only that I’m seeing empanadas for $9 and tacos for $15.

Has anyone else noticed this crazy pricing going on? I’m not even looking forward to San Genaro and what will be charged there. It used to be street festivals had affordable food, now it’s pure price gouging.
