How to deal with FOMO and loneliness during NYC summers?

I’m 26F, born and raised in the upper west side but I grew up pretty shy and socially anxious so I’ve been learning to come out my shell more in the last year. There is so much I want to do, and no matter what I choose to do, it feels like I am missing out on something so much more exciting. I usually take long walks to combat these emotions but then end up feeling worse when I see people my age in large friend groups—it makes me feel like I’m not “living my best life” and the anxiety, and loneliness immediately seep in. How do you combat these feelings of loneliness and fear of missing out especially in the summer?
