I’m in a desperate situation and need advice. I’ve been living in a spot (a parent) where I pay $400 a month in rent and also cover the groceries. I was working at Amazon, but my DSP didn’t renew their contract and shut down, leaving me suddenly out of work.

Because I can’t afford to help as much right now, the people I’m staying with want me out. They told me they “don’t want anyone laying around not working.” Yesterday received a text saying I must leave by this Sunday (only 4 days from now). we didn’t have the best relationship so I’m not surprised but

I have no other family and nowhere to go which will leave me potentially homeless. Are there emergency resources for someone in my position who is willing to work but just lost their job? I’m terrified of being on the street.
