I always think to myself that there’s no way to be pro USA and hate on which is not only the biggest city , but also the melting pot in the US that represents America really well. You could walk through Queens and explores food from more than 17 countries. Walk trough the Hasidic section of Williamsburg , the Italian neighborhoods in south Brooklyn and Staten Island . And even just outside the city limits you have a diverse melting point of cultures in Hudson County NJ, get to know the Portuguese Ironbound neighborhood in Newark just one stop away from EWR. The point is, how can you be pro American and anti NYC. I don’t think both sentiments are compatible
