I can’t tell if I’m crazy, or if the people I’m dating are just getting more and more toxic. Before my previous relationship ended on Saturday, I had to have someone banned on Hinge for assaulting me. This feels so stupid of me to ask, but I’m just curious to know if I’m the only one feeling really, really disgruntled dating here in this city.

In particular, I’ve dealt with a lot of toxic masculinity, misogyny, and generally a lot of discrimination for my stance on mental health treatment (VERY pro, btw). Is anyone else feeling like the dating scene is worse than it worse years ago? When I first moved here, dating didn’t seem so bad. I feel so unfortunate now.
