I dropped off about 90% of all my clothing to be washed. I realized 2 days went by but I haven’t gotten a text to come pick up so I went to the laundromat. I saw a small clear bag with 2 of my towels and work shirt on top of a washer but the receipt on the bag had someone else’s name on it. The attendant looked around but couldn’t find my laundromat bag. The small bag weighted less than 10lbs but I gave them more them 40lbs of laundry. I found someone else’s pillow case in that bag.

Is this a common thing? Can I demand to be compensated if they dont find my laundry?
