Heard it over the PA about 3-4 times in the past months or so where conductor legit threatens to take the train out of service if people keep holding the doors.

First time it happened to me on was the D; we sat at 34th for 10+ minutes like we were being grounded by our parents and then the conductor legit kicked everyone off. MTA.info then reported a “mechanical door failure”.

Is this a thing nowadays?
