I booked a monthly parking spot at a garage 2 months ago in Manhattan, usual valet situation.

I always let the garage know the day before I am taking the car out and they always send me a confirmation message back.

This morning, I came at the time I had stated, and they couldn’t find my car for 20 minutes! It turned out they had moved my car to a different location 25 blocks away and never notified me. I ended up having to uber to work while they figured it out to make it to my shift at the hospital.

Has anyone heard of this before?! I’m having trouble finding my parking garage contract, but I am shocked they would have driven my car 25 blocks in Manhattan without notifying me. Let alone it not being available when I needed it given the exorbitant price I pay…
