This is such a shot in the dark and I hope anyone can help me out, or maybe the guy himself will see this but I was at McNally Jackson Books in SoHo around 5:30 pm on February 16th looking at the books about Palestine. As I was looking between the books, deciding which to get, a voice beside me tell me the book I’m holding is a good one. I look up and see a very cute and friendly looking face. We talk for a bit about the books, Palestine (bc we found out we’re both Palestinian), visiting it etc, and exchanged names. Idk if here’s the place to put that out there but it starts with an L. I was a little flustered and nervous the whole time bc I was trying to hype myself up to ask for his number but he ended it by saying it was nice to meet me and walked away. When I turned around he was standing with a girl who also looked our age and my heart cracked a little I’m ngl. Now listen, if he’s in a relationship, I 100% respect that and will move on. Thing is- what if that was his sister or cousin or something 😭😭 idk maybe I’m delusional and this won’t go anywhere, but I believe in fate and if it’s meant to be we will maybe cross paths again. If you know a Palestinian guy named Laith that was at McNally Jackson Books today, maybe let him know the girl he met is interested in him if he’s not in a relationship.
