I plan on staying in the NYC metropolitan area for the rest of my life. I’m looking for a LTR. A lot of guys I meet, however, are transplants who may or may not eventually move back home.

I think my mentality is that, unless the guy is sure he wants to move, we don’t need to think about our long-term living situation just yet. But I also see the argument that it would be a waste of time/energy to date for a year or 2 and then breakup because one person feels they’re ‘done’ with NYC. Obviously, the solution might just be to only date people who know they want to settle down here, but I just haven’t met many who do. What do you all think?
