Gothamist is reporting that a bill banning pedicab drivers from stopping within 50 feet of Broadway theaters was introduced. The article goes on to report that 90% of pedicab drivers are not licensed, that theater goers and constituents complain about the loud music blaring from their bluetooth speakers, and that they harass tourist, and deceive them about their prices.

I was surprised to find out that only 1 in 10 is operating legally, but the rest doesn’t surprise me at all. Kind of curious about what others think about them.
