I’m from the Bronx and I recently moved to Brooklyn. At every Bronx bodega/deli I’ve been to, when I order a bacon egg and cheese on a roll that’s exactly what I get. I tried out a new bodega in Brooklyn today and they gave me a bacon egg and cheese with ketchup and mayo on a roll?? I never asked for ketchup or mayo! Why would I want cheese, mayo and ketchup together?To be fair, I ate the entire thing and it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Wouldn’t order again though. I guess I have to specify “plain” here?
