I make decent bank but looking at restaurant prices these days (I should say the last couple of years) has really given me pause. I guess I really haven’t made the mental inflationary adjustment and the thought of spending $100+ for two on a typical dinner or even lunch has me usually noping out and staying in. Curious how the economy has changed your entertainment and dining routine from say a few years ago. I can’t tell if I aged out of that lifestyle mentality or if the prices have urged me out (or maybe just both).
esp interested in hearing from those that could technically afford it but choose not to (bc of sticker shock)
