Do you think Mamdani will do major upzonings?

I got curious, so I went back and looked at the records of the last 3 mayors.

Bloomberg (12 years): did targeted upzonings (waterfront, CBD) and widespread downzonings in the suburbs.

Estimated ~30k – 80k units of capacity added.

De Blasio (8 years): mostly upzonings focused on specific neighborhoods, introduced mandatory affordability requirements.

Estimated ~ 60k – 80k units of capacity added.

Adams (4 years): did citywide upzoning (city of yes) and various neighborhood plans (LIC etc).

Estimated ~ 130k units of capacity added.

Mamdani talks a lot of building more housing, do you think he will do major upzonings to achieve it? If so, how many units of capacity is realistic to hope? Like, is it closer to 50k, 100k, 150k+ units, or is Adams’ 130k already basically the ceiling?
