I realize I’m going to get 18 replies all saying some version of “it depends”, but let’s say you personally have some experience with this, from the lease, to permits, to labor, equipment and interior decor – you able to weigh in with something more specific? For purposes of discussion let’s assume small location, side street in a “medium” cost neighborhood. I dunno. I’m not going to open one, I’m just curious about the economics when I see one open because around me they seem to pop up and then close all the time.
